Vegas - Balley's Resort World Venture Conference and Grand Canyon expedition.

Just got back from Vegas for the first time. I was attending a conference with World Ventures. My first day there I did the Grand Canyon trip. One of the most spectacular expeditions I have ever done.

It starts with a van ride to the airport. We take off to the Grand Canyon and fly over the Hoover Dam. The largest concrete wall in North America according to the pilot. We then land on a run way just before the canyon. Next we get into a shuttle bus that will take us to the helicopter. The helicopter sits 6. We lift off and head to the canyon. Everything changed when I looked down and the ground just dropped. We were in the grand canyon hovering over breath taking views.

We land have lunch on this cliff that demonstrates the magnitude of the Canyon. We speak to the son of the Indian Chief who shares about the tribe. We learn that Mountain Lions are at the top of the food chain. Many venomous snakes and the crew tries to find and remove them every morning so travelers do not have any snake attacks. While you sit at the picnic table you are in awe of the surrounding beauty. Its almost surreal.

Now we take a boat on the Colorado River and take in breath taking scenery every where. We find out that Catfish is the #1 fish in the water and its a run off from the Colorado Rockies. Water is cold.

After lunch we head back to Vegas.

I had to see Trump Plaza so off I went by foot. It was high 80's. Unfortunately Donald Trump was not in and I was told that if he was he would meet me. The interior was immaculate and I had to have a drink in the pool lounge. On my way back I captured pictures of all the resorts on Las Vegas blvd..
